Christmas Village

You are invited to Redeemer’s annual Christmas Village outreach, a great way to show and share the love of Christ at Christmas with our neighbors.

Christmas Village is a family friendly event featuring hot chocolate, warm chili, children’s games, live music, carolers, and a special presentation of the Christmas story in dance performed by Kinetic Etchings Dance Project, placed in an old time Christmas village of lights right here in our west parking lot.

Dress warmly and invite your family and friends to Redeemer’s Christmas Village!

Ways to Help with Setup

This Saturday morning, December 15th, from 8:30 am until Noon, we will be wrapping trees in lights and dusting off the buildings of the Christmas village in preparation for the Christmas Village Outreach. We will be serving up hot coffee and donuts and having a good time getting into the Christmas spirit. If you can give us 30 minutes or stay ’til Noon, you will be very valuable help.  Contact Steve Lanier at slanier@redeemerjackson.com for more information.

Baking team that is baking cookies for the Christmas Village will be meeting at the home of Mary Claire Primos, 1722 Lyncrest Ave., Jackson, MS 39202, this Saturday, December 15th, from 1 to 3 pm. They will be decorating cookies and making some gluten free cookies as well. All interested bakers or future bakers are invited to bring their own aprons joining the party.

Wednesday, December 19th, we will be hosting the Christmas Village outreach in our newly restored West parking lot. We will be setting up the village all day. If you can lend a hand or a truck, we would love for you to come on out and give us a hand. If you would like to volunteer that evening, please sign up
