Levi Gill, Deacon

Levi and Kateri Gill run Hope Exchange, a ministry that develops people in practical ways so they can thrive in their work and finances. The Gills live in West Jackson and have two boys, Asaph (3) and Abel (1).  Although they are both originally from other places (Levi from Colorado, and Kateri from Minnesota), they’ve made Jackson their home.

They started Hope Exchange in 2017 in partnership with Redeemer Church out of a desire to use workforce development as a way to share the gospel, provide practical assistance for people struggling with under- and unemployment, and connect people to full discipleship within the local church. They also wanted to see the church equipped to walk with people in chronic material need.

The Gills are certified to facilitate Work Life and Faith & Finances curriculum through the Chalmers Center. Before going full time with
Hope Exchange, Levi taught literature and writing to 6 – 7th graders for 5 years and before that he served as a full time missionary for 4 years
with We Will Go Ministries in downtown Jackson, MS.
