Chael was raised in Tupelo, MS to parents who loved the Lord and discipled him from an early age. However, it was through his involvement in campus ministry at USM that the Gospel became clear to him, and he became aware of his sin and need for the redeeming power of Jesus Christ. At USM, Chael was heavily involved with Greek Life campus ministry and the local church.
He graduated in 2021 and married his amazing wife, Kate. They moved to Tuscaloosa where Chael worked full time and received a Master’s in Education at the University of Alabama while Kate worked in college ministry at a local church. During their time in Tuscaloosa, Chael began to discern a call to pastoral ministry and moved to Jackson in May of 2023 to pursue the Master of Divinity degree at RTS (he’s a third generation RTS student!).
Chael also works in the RTS admissions office, helping men and women discern their callings to pursue seminary education. Chael and Kate enjoy cycling, running, swimming, hiking, and walking their Corgi, Teddy.
