The Day Conference is a one-day teaching and discipleship event for the women of Redeemer, and it is open to women of every age, stage, and background. The goal is to help women understand what the Bible teaches about spiritual gifts, identify their own gifts and see the value of other women’s gifts, and leave with practical ways to use those gifts in the life of the church, both formally and informally. The day also speaks to two common struggles. Some women carry too much and feel that nothing will happen without them. Others feel unneeded, under-equipped, or overwhelmed. The conference meets both groups by showing that every woman is gifted and that the church needs the whole body working together. All teaching, speaking, and facilitating will be led by women from our own church, so the day itself will model the message: many different gifts, one body in Christ.
