We want to meet practical needs that arise inside Redeemer’s body, in our parish, or in our city, and we want to build a habit of service among Redeemer’s members by organizing monthly service opportunities.

Saturday Serve’s focus for November is on church property.
This event is good for the whole family!
The church was recently able to purchase the house at 608 Wellington Rd. Our main goal is to clear out everything that was left in the house by the previous owners. With the junk gone, work can begin to make the space a meeting place for church groups in the near future.
We have 4 main tasks:
1) clear out everything inside left behind by the previous owners;
2) discard anything that is unusable or trash;
3) re-home usable items by: a) hauling usable items to thrift store and/or b) making items available to Redeemer members to keep or share;
4) tidy up the space
Depending on how many volunteers come out, we also have several storage spaces in the church that are also in need of some organizing.
Come bring your muscles, your organization skills, your attention to detail, your common sense, and your love of finding interesting things! Help us steward well the properties the Lord has given to us to use.
