We want to meet practical needs that arise inside Redeemer’s body, in our parish, or in our city, and we want to build a habit of service among Redeemer’s members by organizing monthly service opportunities.
When: May 13, 9:00am – 12:00pm
Where: Location depends on what service option you choose!
What: Join us for May’s Saturday Serve Day!
For May’s Saturday Serve Day, we’ll be working on the church grounds.
1) Beautifying a newly acquired lot (corner of Cedarhurst & Northside Dr).
2) Cleaning and organizing 2 storage areas inside the church.
3) Maintaining Abba’s Art & Soil: a community garden (formerly Broadmoor Neighborhood Garden).
Come one come all; serve days are for everyone! Three ways to serve!
If you sign up for the garden, meet Paul Rankin at the garden at 9:00am. For tasks 1 & 2, meet in the back parking lot of the church at 9:00am.
Who: Families with kids of all ages are welcome. Please bring gloves, any garden tools you may have, drinking water, and work clothes if you plan to work in the garden.
