Interested in helping to plan future Saturday Serves? Want to find a practical way to serve?
February’s serve day will function as a planning meeting and also a service opportunity. It is open to any teen or adult at Redeemer.
Here is the agenda:
1) First we will assemble care packages and snack bags. Care packages have hygiene items in them, a local resource guide, the gospel of John booklet, and other practical items. Snack bags contain a water bottle and non-perishable snacks. These will be shared with anyone who needs them and are designed to equip Redeemer folks with a tool to care for individuals in our neighborhood or the city.
We need to purchase hygiene kits and non-perishable snacks to create the care packages and snack bags, so please consider donating any of the above mentioned items.
2) Next, we will use our remaining time to make plans, identify tasks, and determine roles for serve days in March, April, and May.
