What brings you to MOMS Bible Study? (What do you like about it—in essence, why do you show up?)

How are we doing with childcare options, nursery and Bible Club? Any suggestions?

What did you like about and/or what would you change about large group teaching/discussion time? Also, what are your thoughts about the Jen Wilkins study on Matthew (format, pace, difficulty…)?

We try to have 1 or 2 speakers each year. Is there a particular topic you would like covered? Do you have a speaker you would like to hear?

What did you like about and/or what would you change about small group fellowship/prayer time?

Did you feel connected in MOMS? Were we friendly? Can you think of ways MOMS Bible Study might be more effective in meeting your needs for fellowship? Things you’d like to do more? Or do less?

Our MOMS Bible Study Ministry Team helps with the organization and leading of MOMS Bible Study. This is an important, even vital component of MOMS. It takes many hands to make such a large ministry effective. Several team members work together with mentors in each of these areas:

Small Group Leader: leading a small group in fellowship and prayer (5-6 needed)

Teaching: leading large group discussion several times a year

Administration & Publicity: Serving as registrar, keeping a current roster and assigning newcomers to small groups and publicizing MOM’S.

Shepherding: Serving as liaison between MOMS Bible Study members who have specific short term needs with other members who can help. This particularly includes setting up meal plans and coordinating other types of help during difficult pregnancies, following births, adoptions, hospitalizations, and other unusual life circumstances.

Hospitality: Shared responsibility helping with weekly refreshment set up and meeting and greeting, coordinating refreshment schedule, meeting and greeting, possibly organizing an after hours social event once a year for the group at large (3-5 needed)

Bible Club: Coordinate activities and teachers for children ages 4 and up while their mothers attend MOMS (1-2 needed)
