Maundy comes from the word “mandate,” and on the night of the last supper, Jesus gave his disciples a mandate to love one another (John 13:34). He also explained that he was the way to the Father (John 14:6) and prayed that his disciples—including us today—would be one (John 17:11-21). Later that night he went to the Garden of Gethsemane to pray (Matt 26:36-46).
Please join us on Thursday, April 6 at 6:00 pm for our Maundy Thursday Service. Nursery will be provided.
