This Fall, Redeemer is offering a 7-week parenting class for families navigating challenging seasons and working with CPS, taught by Marry and TK Harris. Volunteers are needed to assist with transportation, help set up before class, and to eat with the participants as mentors.
Families Count is a church-led parenting class and mentoring program developed by LifeLine Children’s Services for parents whose children are in foster care and parents at risk of losing custody of their children. The classes include a meal, mentorship, transportation and childcare as needed. This opportunity allows the church to offer holistic care to families referred, so that children may remain in their parents’ care or reunify with them permanently.
