Help us adopt 20 families from our community whose children attend Chastain Middle School and whose parents need help providing Christmas for their families.
How do I adopt a family?
- One way to participate is to purchase gift cards to Walmart, Target and or Kroger and bring them by the church office. We are hoping to provide $150 worth of gifts cards for each of the 20 families. With these gift cards the parent(s) can provide their own families what they wish for their children for Christmas. We are simply teaming up with the parents to assist them with providing Christmas for their families and not taking their place.
- Another way to participate in this project is to provide the funds so that the Missions Committee can purchase gift cards to give to the 20 families. You can write a check to the church and with that check, please send a note designating your donation for the “Adopt-A-Family Christmas Project.”
- Another way to participate is to help the Mission to Jackson Committee to sort and to distribute the cards to the families as they come by the church to pick up their gift cards next Wednesday evening, December 16, at 5:00 pm, in the front parking lot of Redeemer.
- All of us can participate by praying that each family will see and hear the love of God in Christ through this opportunity.
