This spring, Redeemer is offering a 6-week parenting class for families navigating challenging seasons and working with CPS, taught by Marry and TK Harris. Volunteers are needed to offer hospitality by either welcoming guests, serving food, offering one-on-one encouragement as mentors or assisting with transportation needs.

Families Count is a church-led parenting class and mentoring program developed by LifeLine Children’s Services for parents whose children are in foster care and parents at risk of losing custody of their children. The classes include a meal, transportation and childcare as needed, and mentorship. This opportunity allows the church to offer holistic care to families referred, so that children may remain in their parents’ care or reunify with them permanently. Childcare provided through the Nursery and Upside Down programming.

When: Wednesdays, Mar 18- April 29, 5:30-7:30pm.
Where: Redeemer Church, rooms 105 & 106
