Katie Drake was born and raised in Mississippi, where she grew up in the church as the daughter of a Methodist pastor. She came to know the Lord as a teenager, and it was during that time she began to pursue a personal relationship with Him.

Katie attended Mississippi State University, where she was involved with Campus Crusade for Christ and served as a youth leader at Calvary Baptist Church. Through those experiences, the Lord stirred in her a desire to grow in her knowledge of His Word and explore how her faith could shape her vocation.

In 2010, Katie enrolled at Reformed Theological Seminary, where she earned a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy and Counseling. She has worked as a professional counselor for over a decade in both non-profit and private settings, and she continues to serve clients through her private practice, which she started in 2018.

Katie has been a member of Redeemer since 2011. She has loved being part of the life of the church and serving in ways that allow her to encourage and support others.

Katie met her husband, Luke, at Redeemer, and they were married in 2018. They have three children—Henry, Lily, and Beckett. In her free time, Katie enjoys working out, reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
