Vision: Sharing Christ’s love through regular & simple deeds of service.
We want to meet practical needs that arise inside Redeemer’s body, in our parish, or in our city, and we want to build a habit of service among Redeemer’s members by organizing monthly service opportunities.
For November 12 we have two parts:
Part 1: Trash Pickup in Broadmoor
Time: 9:00 – 10:30 am
Place: Meet in Church Parking Lot
Details: We’ll start with a trash pick up day in the Broadmoor neighborhood — right behind the church. We’ll walk, pray, and beautify the streets from 9-10:30am. Just bring yourself and your walking shoes! We’ll have bags, water, and gloves.
Part 2: Vision and Team Building
Time: 10:30 – 12:00 pm
Place: Fellowship Hall
Details: Directly following the morning of clean up, there will be a meeting from 10:30 – 12:00 pm to generate ideas and continued vision for Second Saturday Serve as a whole. I want to create a Second Saturday Serve Team. You are welcome to join it!
