Chuck McArthur, Equipping Leaders International

In his recent newsletter, Chuck McArthur shared about his recent trip to Liberia, where he was able to hear testimonies of God’s work from 48 of their Certified Pastor Trainers. He also included a video interview with Martin Yarkay, the country director in Liberia, who talked about how many recent graduates they had from their program, and some of the courses they found most impactful.

ELI is seeking to address the problem of Africa’s current food shortage by offering agricultural training using the regenerative farming technique. This will equip their trainers to be able to feed their families and teach their churches and pastor training networks how they can feed theirs as well.

Praise God for the 628 church leaders who have been trained. Pray for funds for the agricultural initiative. And, pray for stamina and wisdom for Michael Cooley and Eleazar Gbengan. Michael is on ELI’s faculty as an agricultural specialist and he is working hard to get a lot of people trained in a short amount of time. Eleazar is an ELI associate who runs a training center in Liberia.
