William Stackler, Elder
Born in Maryland and raised in an agnostic military family, William Stackler was exposed to an array of cultures from a young age. This shaped his appreciation for community and diverse cultures. He came to faith in his late teens in a group of charismatic believers and a few years later met his wife, Amy, at a regional retreat with Intervarsity.
Amy and William have five children, Sam, Georgia, Lucy, Nati and Habby. Georgia died on Easter Sunday in 2004 at six months old. This is a devastating part of their story and also a testament of God’s grace and mercy. The family began attending Redeemer in 2015 and loves being involved in the church community.
