Reid Haygood, Deacon

Reid grew up in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina and Tampa, Florida. He came to faith in Christ and was baptized in 7th grade. Reid and his family moved to Mississippi when he was a junior in high school. He studied civil engineering at MSU where he met his wife, Mary Helen.

Reid grew closer to Christ through the trials of college and recently during his transition to adulthood, holding to the truth that Christ is sufficient for our salvation. Reid is a roadway design engineer in Jackson and Mary Helen is pursuing her Doctorate of Medicine at UMMC. They have been married for 3 1/2 years and have been members of Redeemer Church since 2019.

In his free time he enjoys playing golf, camping, and reading non-fiction.
