Joshua and Ruth Tsavatewa, Sacred Road Ministries

2021 was an exciting year for Joshua and Ruth Tsavatewa and their work with Sacred Road Ministries in Yakama, WA.  Despite a record heat-wave and COVID concerns this summer, Sacred Road was able to have in-person church, youth group, service opportunities for young people, and a weekly mobile library.  A group of 19 middle schoolers went to an impactful Young Life camp with Joshua and other staff members and over the course of the summer, this group became a backbone of the service groups and the church.

Joshua and Ruth were married at the end of August and have since been hosting dinners, building connections with the community, and continuing to help with youth events and church services.

Joshua has been talking with a group of 3^rd-5^th graders who would like to be baptized and Ruth has been working with the 4^th and 5^th grade girls at church, helping with the afterschool program, and substitute teaching.

Please pray for Joshua and Ruth as they continue to serve and connect with their community.  Pray also for some upcoming transitions in the ministry as a group of staff prepares to move and do ministry on other reservations in the area.
