Our missionary of the week is our own Chandra Crane with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA, and author of her new book Mixed Blessing. Chandra writes, “I’m excited to announce that I’ve been promoted again and am now the Mixed Ministry Coordinator for the National Multiethnic Initiatives Department. This role allows me to stay in contact with students and faculty at Mississippi College while developing resources at a national level for use on campuses across the country.”

She continues, “I’m grateful for Redeemer’s continued support as I work on multiethnic initiatives such as Bible studies, conferences, the Mixed Blessing book and podcast, and a video series about justice on campus. I’m so blessed to have a job that lines up so well with the vision of Redeemer and appreciate this partnership with our church.”

Prayer request: National Mixed Staff Conference—“Knit Together”—which I am directing. It will be a virtual event April 23-24. This will be a wonderful time of equipping staff and volunteers from around the country to think about the ways in which their multi-ethnicity can bless students and faculty on their campuses. Please pray for all the details, such as technology, plenary speakers, and all our attendees. You can learn more about this work that Chandra is doing and other ways to support her in prayer by going to Praying for Missionaries.
