Back in September Redeemer was visited by Joshua Tsavatewa, the Assistant Pastor of Hope Fellowship Church, a PCA mission church located on the Yakama Reservation in Washington state. Joshua shared with us about both the need and the fruit of the church as it seeks to minister and witness to the Yakama community. Of particular note for prayer has been the challenges of running the church plant amidst the restrictions of COVID. With a large part of their ministry being to children, it has been a particularly hard year as children and youth events, along with services have had to be cancelled. Please be in prayer for Joshua as he pastors this church community and reaches out to the community around. Pray for the many children and young people who have suffered as a result of quarantine and missing out on meeting with the church family. Pray for the church as it continues to navigate the challenges of COVID and seeks to witness to the Yakama community. Finally, be in prayer for the Yakama Nation, that many would come to know and love the Lord in these days.
