Haruaki and Asami Odate, Japan (UPDATE)

On November 10, members of Redeemer had a Zoom call with the Mission to the World (MTW) team in Japan. We heard from missionaries and church members in Japan about the blessing that the Odates have been to the church as they seek to church plant. The church in Japan has been especially thankful for Ochan’s preaching, and Asami’s gospel choir which has reached many with the message of the gospel. One comment on Ochan’s preaching was that his “message has touched all the generations”. The church in Japan wishes to convey their thanks for all the ways in which Redeemer has trained and supported the Odates, and they are continuing to ask for our prayers. To that point, please continue to be in prayer for the Odates as they minister and seek to church plant.
