This week we are remembering our brothers and sisters in the Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Over the past few years, the church in the east and north east of the central African country has seen a growing number of attacks from various militant groups. Instability in this region of the country, combined with a lack of infrastructure have made it extremely difficult for security services to curb the growing violence. Compounding this challenge, the region continues to recover from last years outbreak of Ebola whilst also bracing itself for the growing presence of COVID-19. Please lift up our family in the Lord who face these and other challenges as they seek to live their lives and remain faithful to the Lord. Pray for their strength, courage and ever increasing joy in the Lord Jesus Christ.
