No agenda\, just hospitality\, connectedness\, and belonging together as a church family to turn our hearts towards the Christmas Holiday. \nWhat: Christmas-Themed Wednesday Night Fellowship Meal\nDate: Wed\, December 6\nTime: 6:00-7:00pm\nBut here’s the thing: please be as close to 6:00pm as possible so that everyone can partake of what you bring.\nLocation: Fellowship Hall\nPurpose: To eat together with our church family and turn our hearts towards Christmas. Our goal is to build relationships and cultivate the rhythm of being together. You can see old friends and make new ones.\nChildcare? This is an event for the whole family\, so no childcare is needed. We can talk together while kids run around. In fact\, your kids may want to eat with other kids!\nStyle: Pot Luck. Everybody’s bringing something to the table (literally)\, and you can practice generosity as time and resources allow. You’ll bless others whether you spend an hour or two in the kitchen or swing by the store on the way from work. And no one is judging anyone on the quality of their casserole—or their Pringles.\nWhat do I bring? On December 6\, if your LAST NAME starts with…\nA-I: bring a main dish\nJ-Q: bring a side\nR-Z: bring a dessert\nHow much should I bring? Your quantity should feed your people. Bring enough that if everyone coming with you were eating only that thing\, they would have enough to eat. (Though that would be really boring so we’ll share our food with each other…)\nCleanup: Many hands make light work. Let’s all pitch in at the end of the meal to return the room to the condition in which we found it. Brown House across from side parking lot at Redeemer. Park at church.\nWhat: Join us for December’s Saturday Serve Day! \nThis month we are serving the ministry of 3 H Ministry — Hearts & Hands for Hispanics. Their vision is to see God’s church full of all His people with a rich multi-cultural worship of our one true King; to do this\, Hearts & Hands for Hispanics integrates the Hispanic community into vibrant\, bible-preaching\, local churches. \nWe are serving them this month by working on a place they can meet and have Bible studies with the hispanic community around Redeemer. A recently acquired property at 608 Wellington Rd (right behind the church) provides the a great meeting place for 3 H ministry on Wednesday evenings. 608 Wellington will be a space that any group at Redeemer can use; 3 H will simply be the anchor group that cares for the space and makes it welcoming. \nTo get they space ready for groups\, the serve team will clean\, paint ceilings & walls\, rip out carpet where appropriate\, and stage house for meetings. This is a great project for anyone — families and kids very welcome!! We need people with a heart to serve and get a little messy in the process. \nBring paint clothes and any paint supplies you are willing to use — angles brushes for cutting in\, rollers\, trays\, cups\, etc! \nContact:  Levi Gill at levijgill@gmail.com or 970.946.8467. \nPlease sign up below. \n\n \n \n RSVP to join us on the second Saturday of the month as we serve our members and the community through ministry of deed! \n \n Name(Required)\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n Cell Phone(Required)Email(Required)\n \n How many adults?(Required)How many children?(Required)Age of children(Required)What paint supplies you can bring? What cleaning supplies can you bring?Comments or questions.\n Submit \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Δ URL:https://redeemerjackson.com/event/second-saturday-serve-16/ CATEGORIES:Featured ATTACH;FMTTYPE=image/jpeg:https://fw-redeemerjackson.s3.amazonaws.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/06130524/3-h-photo.jpeg END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
