SUMMARY:Second Saturday Serve
DESCRIPTION:Vision: Sharing Christ’s love through regular & simple deeds of service.\nWe want to meet practical needs that arise inside Redeemer’s body\, in our parish\, or in our city\, and we want to build a habit of service among Redeemer’s members by organizing monthly service opportunities. \nWhen: June 17\, 9:00am – 12:00pm\nWhere: Location depends on what service option you choose!\nWhat: Join us for June’s Saturday Serve Day! \nWe are serving in the Broadmoor neighborhood for June 2023’s Second Saturday Serve! Your whole family is welcome to sign up: you can choose to help beautify a lot\, clean up ditches\, or maintain the garden.\n1) Continue the lot beautification on the corner of Northside Dr. & Cedarhurst Dr. that began last month. We’ll be clearing the last of the sticks\, rubble\, and debris that make the lot hard to maintain. Group will meet at the empty lot at Northside & Cedarhurst. Wear protective clothing (clothes\, toed shoes\, gloves\, long pants).\n2) Helping to clean ditches along Londonderry Dr. so that water flows where it is supposed to go. Meet in Redeemer’s side parking lot by basketball goals. Bring shovels\, boots and clothes that can get dirty. It’s going to be a muddy task!\n3) Maintaining & Cultivating in Abba’s Art & Soil: a community garden (formerly the Broadmoor Neighborhood Garden). Meet at the garden\, corner of Robinhood Rd. and Londonderry Dr. \nContact:  Levi Gill at levijgill@gmail.com or 970.946.8467. \nPlease sign up below. \n\n\n \n \n RSVP to join us on the second Saturday of the month as we serve our members and the community through ministry of deed! \n \n Name(Required)\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n Cell Phone(Required)Email(Required)\n \n How many adults?(Required)How many children?(Required)Age of children(Required)Where would you like to serve?\n \n \n Cleaning up of trash and tree limbs that have gathered in ditches.\n \n \n \n Assembling care packages for people living in abandoned houses in the neighborhood\n \n \n \n Outreach/delivery of care packages/prayer.\n \n \n \n Maintaining Abba's Art & Soil Community Garden.\n What can you bring to help with care packages?
