SUMMARY:Wednesday Growth Groups
DESCRIPTION:Growth Groups are a front door to connect with other people in the church for a time of fellowship\, discussion (usually around the sermon)\, and prayer. We meet twice a month. Many groups have childcare. \nWe currently have 12 Growth Groups that meet all over the city\, both at the church and in people’s homes. To find one near you\, visit our Growth Group page. It’s never too late to join! \nRelationships help us grow in Christ. Shepherding and discipleship happen in community. The Christian life isn’t meant to be lived alone. \nIf you would like assistance to plug into a Growth Group\, don’t hesitate to contact Brian Gault at bgault@redeemerjackson.com.

SUMMARY:MOMS' Bible Study Begins
DESCRIPTION:MOMS’ Bible Study is designed to promote the gospel in the hearts of mothers through teaching\, community\, and prayer so that God may be glorified in their lives and families. Nursery is provided for ages 0-3. Bible Club\, a time of ministry focused activities\, is available for children ages 4 and older while their mothers attend MOMS. \nJoin us as we study God’s word\, connect in fellowship with other members of the Body of Christ\, and pray for and encourage one another. Each week we leave refreshed\, with our eyes fixed on Jesus\, remembering his great work on our behalf and his steadfast love for us. We return to our families\, our hearts and spirits renewed and ready to embrace the busyness\, challenges\, and blessings of motherhood. \nMoms’ Bible study begins with a group devotional and discussion about the study. We then break up into assigned small groups with seasoned mentor moms coming alongside younger moms for fellowship and intentional prayer time. This year we will be studying the OT prophets and using Nancy Guthrie’s book\, The Word of the Lord: Seeing Jesus in the Prophets. \n  \nWhen: Wednesday mornings (except school holidays) from 9:00 am – 11:00 am\, with nursery open 8:45-11:15. Begins September 4\, 2019 and continues until April 29\, 2020.\nWhere: Redeemer Youth Room \nFor sign up contact registrar Kristy Hawkins at hawkins.kristy@gmail.com or (601) 212-1270 \nCLICK HERE TO REGISTER

SUMMARY:Upside Down
DESCRIPTION:Upside Down began with this conviction: God’s word – by the work of the Holy Spirit and in the context of Christian Community – changes kids from the inside out and turns their worlds upside down. \nFor 10-12 weeks each school semester\, our trained/screened mentors lead kids through memory making activities (Bible/Catechism memory\, eating\, playing\, and singing) to disciple them towards repentance and faith in Jesus\, build relationships with them\, and encourage them to pursue spiritual\, social\, and emotional growth. \nAbout 50% of our Upside Down children are visitors from the community. What a phenomenal opportunity for our church to be a blessing to our community through evangelism and discipleship! \nWhen: Wednesdays from 6:00 pm – 7:45 pm during the school semester (pizza provided for children and volunteers)\nWho: K4 – 5th grade\nWhere: Drop-off/pick-up at the Sanctuary entrance/front parking lot (follow signs and traffic attendants in the front parking lot for car-pool line. Attendants will radio for your child and bring them straight to your car) \n(Nursery provided for volunteers) \nQuestions: Contact Zack Owens at zowens@redeemerjackson.com
