There might be an announcement or two\, but there’s no program. Our goal is to build relationships and cultivate the rhythm of being together. You can see old friends and make new ones.\nChildcare? This is an event for the whole family\, so no childcare is needed. We can talk together while kids run around. In fact\, your kids may want to eat with other kids!\nStyle: Pot Luck. Everybody’s bringing something to the table (literally)\, and you can practice generosity as time and resources allow. You’ll bless others whether you spend an hour or two in the kitchen or swing by the store on the way from work. And no one is judging anyone on the quality of their casserole—or their Pringles.\nWhat do I bring? On January 17\, if your LAST NAME starts with…\nA-I: bring a dessert\nJ-Q: bring a main dish\nR-Z: bring a side\nHow much should I bring? Your quantity should feed your people. Bring enough that if everyone coming with you were eating only that thing\, they would have enough to eat. (Though that would be really boring so we’ll share our food with each other…)\nCleanup: Many hands make light work. Let’s all pitch in at the end of the meal to return the room to the condition in which we found it.\nTime: 6:00-7:00pm\nBut here’s the thing: please be as close to 6:00pm as possible so that everyone can partake of what you bring. Brown House across from side parking lot at Redeemer. Park at church.\nWhat: Join us for January’s Saturday Serve Day! \nWe need lots of volunteers to help with 2 big jobs at the church in January: Option #1 — Re-organization of storage areas at the church; Option #2 — Painting walls @ 608 Wellington Rd. More details of each task are below. Serve days are for anyone at the church — members\, regular attendees\, visitors\, youth — anyone! Families with young kids are welcomed and encouraged to join as well. Kids have. a good time and learn lots when they see adults serving together. \nOption #1 — There are many large banquet tables at the church that need a home to live in. Task #1 will involve getting the storage area ready to receive those and moving them into place. There are other storage organization tasks as well\, so we need people who like to make order out of chaos in addition to people who like to haul heavy things. \nOption #2 — The goal is to use 608 Wellington Rd. as a space where groups from the church can meet. It is almost finished! The serve team will finish painting ceilings\, walls\, and floors & stage house for meetings. We need people with a heart to serve\, attention to detail\, and the willingness to get a little messy in the process. Bring paint clothes and any paint supplies you are willing to use — angles brushes for cutting in\, rollers\, trays\, cups\, etc! \nContact:  Levi Gill at levijgill@gmail.com or 970.946.8467. \nPlease sign up below. \n\n \n \n RSVP to join us on the second Saturday of the month as we serve our members and the community through ministry of deed! \n \n Name(Required)\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n Cell Phone(Required)Email(Required)\n \n How many adults?(Required)How many children?(Required)Age of children(Required)Service Options\n \n \n Option #1\n \n \n \n Option #2\n Comments or questions.\n Submit \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Δ URL:https://redeemerjackson.com/event/second-saturday-serve-17/ CATEGORIES:Featured ATTACH;FMTTYPE=image/jpeg:https://fw-redeemerjackson.s3.amazonaws.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/08134422/istockphoto-1410319980-612x612-1.jpeg END:VEVENT BEGIN:VEVENT DTSTART;TZID=America/Chicago:20240125T173000 DTEND;TZID=America/Chicago:20240125T193000 DTSTAMP:20231130T203426Z CREATED:20231201T021206Z LAST-MODIFIED:20231130T203426Z UID:18995-1706203800-1706211000@redeemerjackson.com SUMMARY:Youth Movie Night DESCRIPTION:A fellowship night for 6th-12th grade. \nRedeemer Youth students\, let’s kick off the semester with a Movie Night!
