We are hoping to provide $150 worth of gifts cards for each of the 20 families. With these gift cards the parent(s) can provide their own families what they wish for their children for Christmas. We are simply teaming up with the parents to assist them with providing Christmas for their families and not taking their place.\nAnother way to participate in this project is to provide the funds so that the Missions Committee can purchase gift cards to give to the 20 families. You can write a check to the church and with that check\, please send a note designating your donation for the “Adopt-A-Family Christmas Project.”\nAnother way to participate is to help the Mission to Jackson Committee to sort and to distribute the cards to the families as they come by the church to pick up their gift cards next Wednesday evening\, December 16\, at 5:00 pm\, in the front parking lot of Redeemer.\nAll of us can participate by praying that each family will see and hear the love of God in Christ through this opportunity.\n\nRegister to help by e-mailing Steve Lanier at slanier@redeemerjackson.com URL:https://redeemerjackson.com/event/adopt-a-family-christmas-project/ CATEGORIES:Featured ATTACH;FMTTYPE=image/jpeg:https://fw-redeemerjackson.s3.amazonaws.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/12135913/Chastain-scaled.jpg END:VEVENT BEGIN:VEVENT DTSTART;TZID=America/Chicago:20201216T173000 DTEND;TZID=America/Chicago:20201216T183000 DTSTAMP:20201111T143707Z CREATED:20201111T143435Z LAST-MODIFIED:20201111T143707Z UID:11654-1608139800-1608143400@redeemerjackson.com SUMMARY:Christmas Candy Cane Outreach DESCRIPTION:What: You are invited to join our Redeemer family as we team up to visit families in our community to sing Christmas carols\, deliver Christmas gifts and share the story of the miraculous birth\, perfect life\, atoning death\, and victorious resurrection of Jesus Christ through the parable of the candy cane.\nWhen: Wednesday\, December 16\, from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm.\nAdditional Information: We will meet at the church at 5:00 pm in the fellowship hall to break into teams and to collect our gift bags and head off to our appointed destinations.\nContact: Steve Lanier at slanier@redeemerjackson.com or 601.259.5454 URL:https://redeemerjackson.com/event/christmas-candy-cane-outreach/ CATEGORIES:Featured ATTACH;FMTTYPE=image/jpeg:https://fw-redeemerjackson.s3.amazonaws.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/12135930/Candy-Cane-Story-Image.jpeg END:VEVENT BEGIN:VEVENT DTSTART;TZID=America/Chicago:20201224T170000 DTEND;TZID=America/Chicago:20201224T180000 DTSTAMP:20201202T200813Z CREATED:20201203T012559Z LAST-MODIFIED:20201202T200813Z UID:11734-1608829200-1608832800@redeemerjackson.com SUMMARY:Christmas Eve Candle Lighting Service DESCRIPTION:Join us on Thursday\, December 24\, at 5:00 pm for our annual Christmas Eve Candle Lighting Service. \nThe service will be full of Christmas music as together we sing carols in this advent season to rehearse the story of Christ’s first coming while remembering that we wait for him to come again.
