SUMMARY:A First Glimpse at a Phased-in Return to In-Person Corporate Worship
DESCRIPTION:Moving towards a Return to In-Person Corporate Worship\nThe Session and Staff are creating a dynamic and flexible plan to return to in-person corporate worship. Here’s some key information: \n\nLivestreaming Available. We will be moving from recording our services on Saturdays to livestreaming the 8am service. A recording will be available immediately following the 8am service. Target Date: June 14. Livestreaming is an important platform to serve those who won’t return in-person in the near future in Christian freedom.\nOfficers & Families Test Socially-Distanced In-Person Worship. Working in conjunction with the city of Jackson\, and taking appropriate social-distancing precautions\, officers\, staff\, and their families may attend in-person corporate worship in order to work through any unforeseen blind spots or issues. Target Date: Sat\, June 6. We can test two services (8am & 11am)\, with the nuances of cleaning and disinfecting between services the following week\, on Sun\, June 14.\nA Return to Limited In-Person Corporate Worship. With appropriate social-distancing precautions and registration to help us plan each service\, we will will return to in-person worship. We will return with two services\, 8am & 11am\, both of which will be livestreamed\, and a recording will be posted immediately following the service. Target Date: June 21.\nThank You for Your Patience & Prayers. Please pray for wisdom as we navigate these unprecedented times. Our tentative timetable may change as various unknowns are discovered. Here’s the most recent information: \nPhase 3: Returning to In-Person Corporate Worship\nTesting went well on June 6. If testing all of our protocols goes well on June 14\, we will return to limited in-person corporate worship on Sunday\, June 21\, with services at 8:00am and 11:00am. Here are more details. \nLivestreaming Available\nOn June 14\, we will begin a new process. We will livestream the 8:00am service\, and then it will be available to watch at your convenience thereafter. \nLook for the livestream on our home page. \nLivestreaming is an important platform to serve those who won’t return in-person in the near future due to Christian freedom. \nA Limited Return\nWhat will our return look like? Here’s a quick glimpse: \n\nSocially Distanced Seating using different rows for the 8:00am and 11:00am services.\nAdvanced Online Registration to maximize occupancy and safety.\nMasks Strongly Encouraged with two sections: Masks Required Upstairs and Masks Optional Downstairs.\nA Touchless Service where nothing will be passed.\nNo Nursery at this time.\nNo Children’s Church at this time.\nNo Sunday School at this time.\n\nSee more details listed below.
