SUMMARY:Christmas Eve Candle Lighting Service
DESCRIPTION:Join us on Thursday\, December 24\, at 5:00 pm for our annual Christmas Eve Candle Lighting Service. \nThe service will be full of Christmas music as together we sing carols in this advent season to rehearse the story of Christ’s first coming while remembering that we wait for him to come again. And we will light candles together as we proclaim that Jesus is the light of the world. \n(Children often wear pajamas to this event!)

SUMMARY:Upside Down
DESCRIPTION:Upside Down began with this conviction: God’s word – by the work of the Holy Spirit and in the context of Christian Community – changes kids from the inside out and turns their worlds upside down. \nOur trained/screened mentors lead kids through memory making activities (Bible/Catechism memory\, eating\, playing\, and singing) to disciple them towards repentance and faith in Jesus\, build relationships with them\, and encourage them to pursue spiritual\, social\, and emotional growth. \nAbout 50% of our Upside Down children are visitors from the community. What a phenomenal opportunity for our church to be a blessing to our community through evangelism and discipleship! \nWhen: Wednesdays from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm\, beginning February 17 – May 5\nWho: K4 – 5th grade\nWhere: Redeemer Church Sanctuary. Drop-off/pick-up at the Sanctuary entrance/front parking lot (follow signs and traffic attendants in the front parking lot for car-pool line. Attendants will radio for your child and bring them straight to your car)\nAdditional Information: COVID-19 regulations are in place. Masks are required for all meeting attendees. Food will be provided. \nQuestions: Contact Zack Owens at zowens@redeemerjackson.com
