SUMMARY:Upside Down
DESCRIPTION:Upside Down began with this conviction: God’s word – by the work of the Holy Spirit and in the context of Christian Community – changes kids from the inside out and turns their worlds upside down. \nFor 12 weeks each school semester\, our trained/screened mentors lead kids through memory making activities (Bible/Catechism memory\, eating\, playing\, and singing) to disciple them towards repentance and faith in Jesus\, build relationships with them\, and encourage them to pursue spiritual\, social\, and emotional growth. \nAbout 50% of our Upside Down children are visitors from the community. What a phenomenal opportunity for our church to be a blessing to our community through evangelism and discipleship! \nWhen: Wednesdays from 6:00-7:30 pm. The fall semester begins on Aug 19 and ends on Nov 18\, 2026.\nWho: K4 – 5th grade\nWhere: Redeemer Church Fellowship Hall/All Classrooms. Drop-off/pick-up at the Fellowship Hall entrance/front parking lot (follow signs and traffic attendants in the front parking lot for car-pool line. Attendants will radio for your child and bring them straight to your car)\nAdditional Information: Pizza provided for children and volunteers. Nursery provided for volunteers. \nQuestions: Contact Jajaun McNeil at Mrmcneil@redeemerjackson.com

Bring enough that if everyone coming with you were eating only that thing\, they would have enough to eat. (Though that would be really boring so we’ll share our food with each other…)\nCleanup: Many hands make light work. Let’s all pitch in at the end of the meal to return the room to the condition in which we found it.\nTime: 6:00-7:00pm\nBut here’s the thing: please be as close to 6:00pm as possible so that everyone can partake of what you bring.
