SUMMARY:Upside Down Resumes Spring 2026
DESCRIPTION:Upside Down began with this conviction: God’s word – by the work of the Holy Spirit and in the context of Christian Community – changes kids from the inside out and turns their worlds upside down. \nFor 12 weeks each school semester\, our trained/screened mentors lead kids through memory making activities (Bible/Catechism memory\, eating\, playing\, and singing) to disciple them towards repentance and faith in Jesus\, build relationships with them\, and encourage them to pursue spiritual\, social\, and emotional growth. \nAbout 50% of our Upside Down children are visitors from the community. What a phenomenal opportunity for our church to be a blessing to our community through evangelism and discipleship! \nWhen: Wednesdays from 6:00-7:30 pm. The spring semester begins on Jan 21 and ends on Apr 22\, 2026.\nWho: K4 – 5th grade\nWhere: Redeemer Church Fellowship Hall/All Classrooms. Drop-off/pick-up at the Fellowship Hall entrance/front parking lot (follow signs and traffic attendants in the front parking lot for car-pool line. Attendants will radio for your child and bring them straight to your car)\nAdditional Information: Pizza provided for children and volunteers. Nursery provided for volunteers. \nQuestions: Contact Jajaun McNeil at Mrmcneil@redeemerjackson.com

SUMMARY:Soul of Shame Book Discussion Begins
DESCRIPTION:Join Brian Gault (pastor) and Michelle Hitchcock (counselor) Wednesday nights (6:00-7:30) for a 10-week discussion of The Soul of Shame by Curt Thompson. Together we’ll explore how shame shapes our stories\, relationships\, and spiritual lives—and how God invites us into healing\, connection\, and joy. Drawing from neuroscience\, Scripture\, and lived experience\, Thompson offers a compassionate framework for understanding shame and practicing embodied hope within Christian community. \nEach week includes guided discussion and reflection in a safe\, grace-filled space. Open to anyone seeking deeper emotional health\, spiritual formation\, and authentic community. Please RSVP to bgault@redeemerjackson.com by Feb 1 to hold your spot in the discussion.

SUMMARY:Missions Month 2026
DESCRIPTION:Missions Month 2026\n“Go – As the Father Sent Me” (John 20:21)\nMissions Month is a focused season where our church slows down to remember that our God is a sending God. As the Father sent the Son\, Jesus now sends His people into the world with the good news of the Gospel. During the month\, we will explore what it means to live on mission in our neighborhoods\, our city\, and among the nations. Through worship\, teaching\, shared meals\, and conversations with mission partners\, we hope to encourage ordinary believers to see how God uses everyday faithfulness for His global purposes. Mission Month is not just a series of events\, but an invitation to see our everyday lives through the lens of God’s mission. Whether across the street or across the world\, God calls His people to bear witness to Christ with humility\, love\, and faithfulness. \nFAQ’s:\nIs there a cost to attend Missions Month events?\nNo. All Mission Month events and meals are free. \nWho can attend Missions Month events?\nMission Month events are open to families\, friends\, and guests. \nDo I need to attend every event to participate?\nNot at all. We encourage everyone to participate in whatever events they are able to attend. \nWill childcare be provided?\nChildcare will be available for the March 22 Dinner and the March 29 events.
