SUMMARY:Adult Sunday School Returns: How the Bible Fits Together
DESCRIPTION:Last Spring\, we started an Adult Sunday School course entitled The Big Picture of the Bible: How the Bible Fits Together. \nThe course was designed to help us to read and understand the individual parts of the Bible in the context of the unified whole and overarching framework. When you have a map\, it’s easier to understand where you are going. \nYou may remember Miles Van Pelt’s fantastic work on the Canon and Covenant\, and teaching on Hermeneutics and the Covenant of Grace and Covenant of Works. \nThen we were rudely interrupted. Dang pandemic! \nWe’re picking it back up. But don’t worry if you don’t remember where we were; we’ll start with a reprisal of the beginning. \nWhen: 11 Sundays\, 9:45-10:30am\, Sept 27 – Dec 6\nWhere: Sanctuary\nPhase 4 Protocols: We’ll spread out to be socially distanced. Masks required. Click here for more details.\nTopics: Canon & Covenant\, God’s Fourfold Promise\, Torah\, Former Prophets\, Latter Prophets\, Writings\, Intertestamental Period\, Gospels\, Epistles\, Revelation\nTeachers: Miles Van Pelt\, Brian Gault\, Otis Pickett\, Trey Watkins\, Elbert McGowan\nRSVP: No RSVP Necessary.
