SUMMARY:Men's Morning Gathering
DESCRIPTION:The Purpose\nThe Morning Gathering is a time for men to connect and pray with other men under the Word.\nIt is a place to know other men\, be known\, and practice the Christian life together. \nThe Process\nPsalm 1 says that we should meditate on God’s word. The Gathering provides time for directed individual reflection\, which can then be shared in a small group as a way of sharing our Christian life in community. There are also times set aside for fellowship and prayer.\nThe Gathering is designed as a space to build relationships. For more details on the shape of the Gathering\, see our Men’s Ministry page. \nThe People\nAnyone is welcome. The Christian life is a journey to be shared\, and wherever you are on that journey\, we want you. We’re in this together. \nThe Focus\nAs Christians we are called to be more and more conformed to the image of Christ. We are selecting 36 attributes of the person of Christ\, and we will select one attribute each month as we seek to become more like Christ. Over the four weeks of each month\, our brief Scripture for reflection will rotate around four aspects of that attribute:\nWeek 1: Explicit of Christ’s character\nWeek 2: Where Bible characters get it right or wrong\nWeek 3: Gospel identity\nWeek 4: Gospel imperative \nThe Details\nDay: Wednesday mornings\nTime: 6:30 – 7:30am\nLocation: Youth Room\nLogistics: Enter through the gated playground on the East side of the church\, and go up the outside stairs\nParking: Do NOT park in the back parking lot. The Redeemer School needs that lot as students arrive. You may park in the front parking lot (and walk around) or park on Cedarhurst Drive or Wellington Road.\nQuestions: Email bgault@redeemerjackson.com
