Dynamic Marriage is a nine-week course that provides opportunities for married couples to grow in their understanding of one another, improve their communication with one another and, ultimately, develop a deeper love for one another. The course was developed by Family Dynamics Institute and is based on the book His Needs, Her Needs by Dr. Willard Harley.
The strength of the course is the weekly assignments that each couple completes individually and together from the book, the accompanying workbook by Dr. Harley (Five Steps to Romantic Love) and a student handbook prepared by the Family Dynamics Institute.
The assignments typically take a minimum of 3-5 hours each week, and the more time you’re able to give to the assignments, the more your marriage will benefit. Each week everyone will share insights from their previous week’s homework, as well as participate in other individual and group activities. The class time is focused on individual/group sharing, learning together and mutual encouragement.
