Loretta Galbreath | Music Director
Ms. Loretta Galbreath serves as part-time Music Director at Redeemer Church. She is a gifted musician who loves the Lord and has a true heart for the mission of Redeemer Church.
A native of Jefferson City, Missouri, Loretta is an Assistant Professor of Music & Assistant Director of Choral Activities at Jackson State University. She has music degrees from Lincoln University in Jefferson City and the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Music Education & Choral Conducting.
Loretta has prior teaching experience at Lincoln University, and was the Minister of Music & Organist at Second Baptist Church in Jefferson City. She plays a number of instruments including the organ, piano, clarinet, baritone, tuba, and trombone. She also has experience in the formation and direction of mass choirs, and multi-ethnic choirs. She has been named to “Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers,” has directed a choir performance at Carnegie Hall, and has received awards for her leadership and accomplishments
