The last five years have been a wonderful ride for Redeemer Church. We have seen God do some incredible things as we’ve grown as a church in number, ministries and love for Jesus. This growth has brought us to the point of announcing the formal launch of Redeemer’s Capital Campaign.

Proposed Church Building Development

With so many gifts and resources, Redeemer’s congregation has been blessed in such a way that compels us to spread the message of God’s love and hope. Through expanding and strengthening ministries, developing and growing leadership, and preparing for future church planting, Redeemer recognizes its role as steward of spreading God’s message of hope.

Proposed Construction

As our flock grows, with over 400 members and Sunday worship averaging 500, we recognize that the building is in need of development to accommodate its current and future congregation by almost doubling the seating capacity. We also hope to improve the accessibility through additional rest rooms and parking. Opening up the front stage will allow more flexibility in the service and better accommodate the music ministry. Additional expansion will include adding classrooms and bringing the nursery, youth center, and classrooms up to code compliance in order to make possible a future as a school. The expansion would also allow the possibility for Redeemer to develop future church planting teams. Through such expansions, our church fortifies God’s presence in our community and seeks to be a light for Christ in our city and world.

Our theme is “Reaching Up: Reaching Out” – which so appropriately describes what Redeemer Church has been about and what we always want to be. We long for the glory of God and for His fame to spread in Broadmoor/Broadmeadow, Jackson, and to the world. Our building expansion is about this one purpose.

While we have not reached the million dollar mark on our Capital Campaign, contributions fulfilling your pledge may be given now.  They will remain in the Capital Campaign fund until the time we are able to begin to build.  You may designate your pledge in the memo line as Capital Campaign and/or use the Capital Fund line on the offering envelopes.  The prayer of our leadership is that the $1M mark will be reached by the end of 2010.  Pledge cards for the Capital Campaign are available in the brochures located on the Narthex information table.
